Girl Scouts of North East Ohio
Mrs. Jeanne (Peg) Ramm, member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a CWC member, will share with us the History of the American Flag. This historic presentation will highlight the different American flags that were a part of our countrys birth and growth. Members of the Girl Scouts of America will perform a flag ceremony.
Juliette Gordon Lowe founded the Girl Scout organization in Savannah, Georgia in 1912. This year they are celebrating their 100th anniversary as an organization, with the vision of building girls of courage, confidence, and character to make the world a better place. There are currently 3.2 million Girl Scouts and still growing.

Mr. Randy Koch, local author and historian will discuss his book Eyes toward the South. This book brings two of his favorite areas to life, Jefferson County, West Virginia, and Sandusky, Ohio. In remembrance of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War please join us and learn about our own hometown that is a wealth of antebellum and Civil War history! |
